Eric Daniels is an emerging Toronto artist whose bombastic animations and beautifully bizarre paintings invent a universe full of nasty creatures and dreamy, floating landscapes. His bleak comedic themes lend themselves to images that have been called scary, and cursed, and weird which are all taken as compliments. Inspirations for his artworks come from nighttime flash photography, the programing and aesthetics of Adult Swim, and his nature loving adventures. Future projects will contain more use of 3D/mixed media animations and a series of paintings that will use 3-point curvilinear perspective so that he can further the extent of his story telling in a single image
