Eric Daniels is an emerging Guelph born/Toronto artist whose bombastic animations and beautifully bizarre paintings invent a universe full of nasty creatures and dreamy, floating landscapes. The artist graduated from Drawing and Painting/Expanded Animation at Ontario College of Art and Design University in 2020. It was at school where he started drawing inspiration from music videos and [Adult Swim] cartoons to make his animations humorous and experimental. He combats his absurd animations with surreal landscape paintings featuring flora and fauna that he has discovered while doing years of work outdoors and in the forest. He has done music videos and album artwork for local Toronto bands, Crywank, The Dwindles, and Pretty.
