Eric Daniels is a 2020 graduate of DPXA at OCADU. He is Guelph born and raised but lives in Toronto. He is an experimental and energetic animator and a tranquil, traditional painter who paints still life images into surreal landscapes with abstract mythologies that criticize religious iconography and ask questions about spirituality and society. His art is humorous and sublime with huge landscapes, imaginative creatures, bright colours, and surreal haziness. Eric hopes have a solo exhibition of his paintings when his current body of works is completed while simultaneously working with his friends and other musicians to create videos and animations.
